Marketing funnel as an ice cream cone
Erin describes your marketing process as a simple ice cream cone.
At the top is a traffic to your website,in the middle is lead nurturing and in the end
is selling a product or a service.
There are different flavors for different stages in a funnel.
If you start eating from the bottom you will lose all of the sales.
If you start eating from the middle you will lose leads.
If you start eating from the top but you suddenly stop when you reach to the middle
and you throw away your ice cream cone then you will lose both leads and sales.
If you eat from top, through the middle and to the bottom slowly without taking
very big pauses it gets sweeter and sweeter once you eat your whole ice cream cone.
